Cedar Hills AC & Heating Reviews
Cedar Hills AC & Heating Work Experience
Cedar Hills Air Conditioner Repair
We got a call from a Cedar Hills resident, Kristine, saying that the AC didn’t seem to work. We sent our technician Paris to fix it. Paris inspected the AC and found that the filter wasn’t recently replaced and that the air vents filter media on them which restricted air flow. The condenser breaker was also turned off. We changed the air filter and helped our customer know how to improve air flow which would ensure the AC works properly moving forward.
Cedar Hills Furnace Replacement
Jacob, a Cedar Hills resident, called for a furnace tune up and fireplace repair. He and his wife had just moved into the home and asked that we take a look. We performed a tune up on the upstairs furnace, cleaned the flame sensor and ensured all other phases passed. We changed the air filters as well.
For the downstair furnace, we upgraded the unit to a 90% efficiency. We connected the incoming furnace to the existing ductwork, electrical, and gas. We ran a new flu horizontally along the ductwork.
Cedar Hills Air Conditioner Replacement
Our customer, Dustin, a Cedar Hills resident, needed an air conditioner replacement in the heat of summer. They called us for an estimate to evaluate and later selected us to install the new air conditioner. We sent our Technician, Ben to their home to make the install.
Cedar Hills New HVAC Install
Brad, our customer in Cedar Hills needed a new HVAC system installed. Nate and Chris went to the home and and installed the units. We installed a Carrier 80% 4 ton, 2 stage variable speed 13k btu 24″ wide furnace. Along with the furnace we installed a new 25x25x4 filter rack furnace base. We also removed the humidifier and relocated it.
AC Repair Cedar hills Utah
Bruce, another customer of ours in Cedar Hills, had an issue with his AC. Bruce had called us wanting his AC checked out. He told us that it blows cool air but after about an hour, the AC stops.
Our technician Ryan went out to check on the unit. We did a full check up and were able to quickly identify that the breaker needed to be replaced. Once replaced the unit began working perfectly.
Basement AC Installation
Deane, a landlord of a basement apartment, called us to look at her apartment AC which wasn’t working. When we went to diagnose the issue, we immediately realized that the unit was out of coolant. When this happens that means their is a leak. Because of the age of the unit we recommended replacing the entire unit.
We gave a bid for replacing the unit and we were selected to come back and replace it. We installed a 40k btu 80% upflow furnace with a filter base. The AC was a 1.5 ton, 13 seer AC with a 1.5-2 ton coil. We replaced the thermostat as well.
Crack in Heater Coil in Cedar Hills
when conducting a AC inspection we found that our customer, Sammy, in Cedar Hills had an issue in her heater. While inspecting the coil, we found a big crack in the heat exchanger. Cracks in the coil require that the unit get replaced. We also noticed a crack in the coil pan that looks like it had ben siliconed and was leaking. We recommended to our customer that they replace the unit.
Cedar hills AC Repair
We got a call from Hance, from Cedar Hills saying that his AC kept freezing. When this happens there are usually only a couple reasons why. The most common reason that cause AC freezing is restriction in air flow, such as vents being blocked, a filter that hasn’t been replaced. Another cause is that the unit is beginning to fail.
We determined that it was due to the unit beginning to fail. At this point we recommend a replacement of the unit. Often, families that we talk to aren’t ready to change units quite yet. We then work hard to repair the unit to buy more time. That is what we did for this customer. We put a freeze stat on to help it from freezing until the AC can be replaced.
