Utah County AC & Heating Work Experience

Alpine Air Conditioner Repair

One of our Alpine customers had an AC that wasn’t blowing cold air. Morgan, an Alpine homeowner reached out to us to diagnose the issue. We sent one of our technicians, Ben to investigate. It was instantly clear the cause of the problem. The AC coil had frozen reducing the airflow and causing strain on the units.

We thawed the coil and ran a diagnostic to figure out what was wrong. There are usually only a handful of reasons why an AC coil would freeze up. After testing the unit we found that the system refrigerant was low, which means there was a leak. We added dye to the system, and sealed the leak. We then added more R410A refrigerant and the system was as good as new!

Alpine Air Conditioner Repair

Brad, an Alpine homeowner called our office because an AC that we installed a couple years ago wasn’t working. We sent our technician, Brian, to investigate. The fan wasn’t working which had us looking at the outside unit’s capacitor. We quickly found that the capacitor was bad. Fortunately for our client, it was still under warranty and we were able to quickly replace the faulty capacitor and as an added touch, we cleaned the outside unit.

Alpine Furnace Repair

One of our Alpine customers, Cinda, had furnace and AC units that were 25 years old and had stopped blowing air through the house. Because the client rarely used the AC, we opted to fix the issues we could find, rather than replacing the old units. In this case, our technician Ryan identified the issues and replaced the universal blower motor and the capacitor in the furnace. We were amazed that the existing blower was able to last as long as it did. With this new blower Cinda’s home should be set for years to come.

Alpine AC Repair

We got a call from Emily, an Alpine resident, about one of her AC units not working and barely blowing air. Not only that, but the air that is coming through isn’t cold.

We sent our technician, Brian, to investigate. As he was searching for the issue he quickly found that the 45/5 capacitor, responsible for starting the motors,  was completely dead. We were able to replace the capacitor with and the unit was fixed immediately.

Alpine AC & Heater Replacement & Installation

Elden, an Alpine homeowner, was having issues with an old AC. It was not cooling the home and would regularly freeze up. We went out to identify if we could fix it, and with all of the issues the old AC and Heater had, it was best to replace the units.

With it being the middle of summer, we knew we had to act quick. We came back the next morning with a crew to quickly replace the existing units with a fully upgraded AC system. We installed the Amana 4 ton 16 seer AC system, connected the lines et and electrical and installed an Amana 96% efficient furnace system and connected the gas, electrical and ducting/venting.
